I wish I could link to a video for the second single from Julie Kember's EP Gypsy Woman but instead you'll have to take my word that it's a lovely, sentimental song that is infused with landscape, love and family. The song is named for the Donnelly River in the D'Entrecasteaux National Park in Western Australia and it's not hard to picture Kember sitting on its banks, singing to the water and the wind.
Kember is a WA native whose first album, Sugar and Stone, was released in 2009. She has lived in the UK and recorded Gypsy Woman in Nashville.
