Madison Violet on tour

Four years ago I saw a Canadian duo called Madviolet play in a little church hall in Hornsby, in Sydney's north. The pair - who are Lisa MacIsaac and Brenley MacEachern - were so impressive that I then drove to Canberra to see them play again, and I've never seen such a large percentage of an audience rush to buy CDs after a gig before or since.

Madviolet are now Madison Violet and they're heading to Sydney, Katoomba and various locations in Victoria over the nexxt little while. I interviewed Brenley last week and will post that interview shortly, but in the meantime wanted to shout out loud: GO TO THEIR GIGS! They're simply magic.
